My Angels are Blue and Green

I saw Joanne today and she told me I have two angels with me right now - one is of blue light and one is of green light.
I asked the angels to help me find my "tribe" and then I ran into Bill and Lorcan! I do love these two.
I met Bill's daughter Shauna and her husband Ron from Winnipeg at the Lavender Festival.

I have been resonating to the colors blue and green lately, so I'm not that surprised.
Joanne thinks I am on the verge of something that will help other people in some way.

I used to fantasize about running a retreat centre of some sort. Maybe it will be that but just in a smaller way than I used to think. I have 2 extra beds and the foldout couch so I can accommodate 4-6 extra people here (if they can sleep in a bed togheter obviously.)
We could put a tent outside also.

Painting? Yoga? Play-making? Fairy camps for grown ups?
Singing? Life skills? Musical weekends?

YES - musical weekends would be awesome. Maybe a drumming circle, and then some learning new songs to sing, and then some walking on the each. Song writing. Poem writing.

 Tue., Oct. 13, 2020 ***  Yup - it's still 2020. We are expecting a big wind apparently, so I am making sure everything in the yard is safe and will not blow away or get knocked over. I cannot guarantee that I will not get knocked over, of course. Ha. Then the phone rings and it's my emergency POD person, Jane, and we get to talkin and I discover she is from Ireland. Well, that got us going. And that she used to live in Alberta - in Edmonton at one point, and in Strathcona! What! Small world isn't it sometimes. After the call, I continue to straighten up outside, fill some buckets of water inside and boom...there goes the power, right around 2pm. Well no use to hang around now so Sadie and I head to town to pick up Norah and get Sadie some new name tags for her collar. Very nice ones too - all rainbow coloured. I got two so they will rattle and at least I can hear her when she goes of the trail, Which I hope she never does again but of course she will.  So I pick up Norah...

A Kind of Theatre Sept 5, 2020

 Sat., Sept. 5, 2020 *** This blog is kind of turning into my morning pages, in a way. I blather on about whatever is on my mind today. I do not think it would be of much interest to other people, but then again, who knows? I am not a deep thinker but I can be mildly interesting sometimes, and occasionally even funny. No promises, however. THEATRE - Last weekend we had an invited public reading of Wendy Judith Cutler's new play, Undutiful Daughter. (See photo)  There were about 15 people in the audience, a cast of 4 and of course Wendy and Cory. Everyone wore masks as they entered, and they took them off once seated. We had sanitizer and paper towels available, too. Dr Bonnie would have been proud of us!   The cast was ( left to right in PHOTO ) Wendy Beatty, Barb Slater, myself and Kevin Wilkie. I feel "meh".

 Meh. The blahs continue. So far this year alone 7 people I know have died. Since 2019 the death toll is 14!!! Man getting old sucks. Everyone starts dying!!! Jim Helset, Sharon Shewchuk, Mary Dirks, Bev Byron, Simone, Cynthia, D'oreen. Last year Jill Lee committed suicide.  And in 2020 Elsy Perks died, John Ashlie, David Mullen, Gene Dryzmla and Sharon Hawke - Linda Wardroper the year before that.  Some were just acquaintances but I still was affected by their loss.  And a couple more were members of groups I belong to so they were more significant. But the biggest loss was my friend who decided to die using MAID (medical assistance in dying) because her life just had nothing to live for anymore. She was in pain and so ill and was only getting worse and her support system was just not good enough. I miss her every day. I want to have parties again.
